How will Invisalign treatment affect my life?
Give it a day or two for your mouth to adjust. You may feel some initial soreness – that’s normal and to be expected. The idea is to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours a day for maximum effect. Of course, you can remove them for an important social occasion, just put them back on as soon as possible. We ask that you don’t remove them for any type of tobacco use, as this can have a negative effect on the aligner trays (as well as your mouth and other organs).
What happens when my Invisalign treatment is complete?
You made it! To keep that beautiful smile, simply wear your retainer as prescribed by our orthodontists. Make sure to clean it regularly and continue to brush, floss and schedule your regular dental check-ups as always.
