Meet Dr. Steven Sack
The biggest reward I find in my work as an orthodontist is helping my patients achieve healthy smiles that will last them a lifetime. For over 35 years I have had the pleasure of meeting and treating thousands of patients back in my home state of Rhode Island. Getting to know my patients and their families personally and watching them grow up is what I enjoy most about being an orthodontist. My passion for making a difference in people’s lives stems from my time working as a camp counselor, where I enjoyed working with the young campers and teaching them new skills. After going to dental school and joining a family dental practice, I quickly realized something was missing. Upon receiving my orthodontic certificate, it was apparent that orthodontics is the perfect combination of science and artistry that I find both challenging and interesting. Learning and teaching has always been a passion of mine, so it was only natural for me to return to my alma mater to teach at Tufts orthodontic clinic and the URI dental hygiene program. I am also an active member of the Providence Dental Study Club and the New England Orthodontic Study Club.
Outside of the office, you’ll find me spending time with my lovely wife, Lisa, and our three sons, Jordan, Daniel, and Benjamin. We are very involved in our kids’ lives and proud of all of their academic and professional accomplishments. I am also a huge sports fan and follow all the Boston professional sports teams (Celtics, Bruins, and the Patriots) as well as Providence College men’s basketball at the colligate level.
